Palm Beach State College brought together law enforcement and motorcycle enthusiasts for the 4th Annual Panther Prowl Motorcycle Rodeo & Motorman Tribute, held March 25–28 at the College’s Lake Worth campus. The four-day, sold-out event, hosted by PBSC’s Criminal Justice Institute in partnership with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) and the Police Benevolent Association (PBA), drew a record 100 riders.

Palm Beach State College recognized HCA Florida JFK Hospital with a Panther Partner Award during a ceremony on Wednesday, April 1 at the hospital in Atlantis.

The Alpha Delta Iota chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) at Palm Beach State College’s Boca Raton campus received a Distinguished Honors in Action Project Award during PTK’s 2026 Catalyst Convention, held March 26-28, in Baltimore. The award recognizes the chapter’s outstanding Honors in Action (HIA) project, “Storytelling Through Food,” which explored PTK’s international theme, “The Power of Stories: Ways Stories are Told.” Alpha Delta Iota was one of only 50 chapters honored out of more than 1,300 PTK chapters worldwide.

Kimberly Lea, dean of workforce education and development, has been selected as a fellow in the 2026 NextLevel Postsecondary Career and Technical Education (CTE) Leaders Fellowship, a nationally recognized program administered by the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE).
